YAY its the weekend! Even better its a weekend that I have off and I get to see the boyfriend too :) although not looking forward to the boring train ride :(
The blog stats are doing well so thank you for visiting the blog and hope you have been enjoying what I have been posting.
So this weekend I was hoping to have my hair done but the salon is pretty popular so they couldn't squeeze me in this time but fingers crossed for next time.
Staying with the topic of hair my review today is Charles Worthington London Mineral Hair Rescue Salon Results Rejuvenating Masque (that is a looong title).
Like I mentioned yesterday my hair is a bit frazzled from all the styling and dying I put it through so I have been looking for something that would make it soft and healthy looking. I have tried a few hair treatments and nothing has really stood out for me. CW Mineral Hair Rescue Mask contains argan oil which is the big thing at the moment for hair treatments as it leaves hair soft, shiny and healthy however the deciding the factor was it was 1/3 off at Sainsbury so thought it would be a good chance to try something new.
The smell isn't that great its a bit of an odd scent the nearest thing I can compare it to is Lush Soak and Float but a bit nicer. The smell when my hair was damp was still not the best and I was contemplating putting some other product on it to cancel it out but wanted to see what it would turn out like. The smell once my hair dried did ease up to a pleasant one but if you are looking for something floral this is not it! It dulls down to an almost dull almond smell (if that makes sense?).
My hair is actually looking pretty good and feeling really soft, from my styling I have a few split ends and while there is no product that is going to reverse split ends it does make your hair look healthy and split ends 'vanish'.
If you need a hair treatment or something to make your hair extra special then this is worth giving a go, but if you like fruity floral scents then you wont like the smell.
