OK so this weekend I sort of learnt some lessons from my travelling failure a few weeks ago ( read it here http://beautyllb.blogspot.com/2012/02/i-am-faas.html). However I did end up an hour early and had to had to wait around like a lemon.
However I did manage to dress my boyfriend's dog up when no one was looking and thought he looked rather cute! It wasn't cruel he actually liked it and didn't let me take it off him! He is such a poser and thought you all would like to see him looking rather fashionable.

Now on to the prety stuff...So I have been really excited for a while about the new blusher from Benefit makeup. I love the packaging of Benefit makeup and the products always smell great, however being olive toned the foundations don't really suit my skin however, I love their eyeliner and blushers.
My first encounter with a box blusher from Benefit was Coralista which I still own as they last for ages!! however the writing and packaging is pretty battered up. Its is a pretty hot pink colouring but for someone who is olive or darker it gives a subtle pinkness which is great for work or day wear but for anyone who is a bit lighter it would seem a bit bright and I would recommend to use very little spread delicately on the cheeks.
My all time favourite is Bella Bamba which is the most amazing blusher I have found (don't worry for you lot I will keep on testing them all). I had tested in a store and fell in love with the colour immediately! It is described by Benefit as a '3D Watermelon blush' and it packs a powerful punch. The colour is great especially if you have a darker skin tone as it gives a great flushed cheek look without a clown cheek look. Again this colour is great on fair skin if used lightly.

Now Benefit have a new blusher out! WOOHOO or so I thought. Hervana a mix of the words Her and Nirvana (not the band! The place as in Heaven). It is a mix of 4 colours set out like a pin wheel that you swirl together to brush on. I was so excited and was just about to complete purchase online when a voice in my head said it would be more sensible to check out the product in store and then buy it. So I went to my nearest Benefit counter to try it on. Now this is where I post pictures of it but I honestly couldn't see it show up on my cheek or my hand I literally tried scrapping it on to show up a colour and there was nothing! Not a hint of glowing cheeks or soft subtle colour, eventually there was a purple hue to it but it looked like I was developing frostbite rather than rosy cheeks so I left the stand a bit down hearted. I have no doubt that this colour would work on a lot of girls but not this girl!
