Today i will be posting about strip eyelashes these are the ones where you have the eyelashes attached together in a line and you stick the strip to your lash line and are not permanent.
If anyone sees me out and about (college not included) I love my false eyelashes. The bigger the better especially if it feels like you can take flight with them by batting you eyelashes. I have tried a fair few and I have been pretty lucky as my eye lid shape and size seems pretty standard and I have never needed to trim a pair. I have long eyelashes but I like the extra POW falsies give and you can't help but feel ultra feminine with a pair on.
If you do need to trim a pair of eyelashes as tempting as it might be to cut off the short side and keep the lovely long fluttery ends this is wrong! You need to cut from the long lashes (outer corner) otherwise it wont blend in with your eyelashes at the start and will give a very strange look (like a rectangle stuck on your eyelids...this was seen on the catwalk but this should stay there!) Use a small pointed scissors.
The 2012 Professional Beauty Show is coming up soon and I need to restock my collection of eyelashes as I love them a bit too much but I usually end up taking them off away from the box and then loosing one (usually ends up stuck to my foot).
My favorite pair of all time is the Nadine Coyle Festival Lashes for eyelure. They were limited edition so only get word for special occasions. They look really pretty on especially with a glitter eyeliner...
As well as Nicole Robberts for eyelure (however I have found that Eldora lashes ...google them...do very similar ones cheaper H142).
If anyone has seen or watched My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding I am sure you have seen the diamante eyelashes. Now I am not sure where they have got their's from but I found a pair today...
In the 99p store!! Yes these were 99p and yes I have already lost the box. The glue it came with is terrible! I personally don't like it, it peels away from the lid after 20mins. I would recommend investing in a large bottle of good eyelash glue (eyelash adhesive...same thing) as the little vials always run out before the lashes have had their time.

Now 99p makes them cheap and some might say tacky but if you on a night out and you loose a lash for this price your not going to care and if they get wrecked you can pick of the diamante stones and stick them to another pair using eyelash glue.
Eyelashes are great but removing them can be tricky it is best not to pull them off but use either an oil based make up remover on a cotton wool pad and leave on closed eyes for a couple of minutes or to put some oil on cotton pad and leave for a few minutes the eyelash strip should peel off easy or have come away from your lid.
Remember practice makes perfect with eyelash application.
