Read my lips

Its nearly the weekend WOOP WOOP! If your a student or a teacher then like me you are probably panicking  over the fact that you haven't started and/or finished your homework/marking that you had a whole week to do. If your like me you might have started the holidays with great intentions and then by Monday your diary is full of random life stuff you forgot about all you work..wooopsie... oh well that's what Sunday night is for! Or Monday morning....

So while you avoid work why not try and find that perfect shade of colour for your lips. I have yet to find the colour that I am in love with but I have come close once or twice. So today I am going to talk about Max Factors Lipfinity Lip Tint Pens. Other companies have copied the lip pens with various shades and smells but Max Factor has a stronger pigment (in the darker shades) I find in comparison to other brands found in Boots or Superdrugs.
(nail varnish remover spilled on to the pens)

The pens have a sweet smell and if you lick them (accidentaly of course) they have a sugary taste rather than a bitter taste you would expect from the colour. The pen itself looks like a chunky felt tip pen that you use to use at primary school.

The application of the product is essentially colouring in your lips like you would with a felt tip pen. This can be rather fun if you liked colouring in other wise you can feel a bit silly.

Max Factor has extended their range of colours so you can experiment more with them but I found the darker the colour the longer the staying power but as these dry quickly and are matt you can extend the wear by adding a waterproof top coat such as lipcote or similar.

I personally prefer Shade 1. Its great for day time look and the no makeup makeup effect as it gives a pinky rosy tint without giving your secret away. Also if your busy and have no time to reapply the tint it won't show up.

 shade 3 (sorry its dark)

If you like bright or dark rich colours then give lip tint pens a try as they work well for those colours but if you like lighter, softer, neutral colours then this product is not really the best. Sorry.
