Time To Make Up

Ok super massive apologies for not blogging in a while it has been a crazy week! I promise I will be blogging everyday again, Girl Guide Promise.

Its Sunday! While it has been a dull, grey day in London it is the start of the best beauty show in the UK (in my opinion). Professional Beauty 2012 has began WOOHOO!! If anyone has been to a fair at the ExCel Centre London you will know how amazing the place is and when packed from wall to wall with makeup and beauty products my brain goes into happiness overdrive. You may be thinking that it might be a mess of pink and covered wall to wall in glitter but instead the show is full of amazing stands for every type of product designed for any beauty treatment or service you could ever want.

So where do I visit first?  THE MAKEUP STAND!! Where else?

If anyone has seen celebs looking 'immaculately perfect' on the red carpet this award season and wondered how they look picture perfect without having every image photoshopped before release? Well mere mortals the answer is airbrush makeup. Airbrush make up gives an instant even effect without those pesky sponge or brush lines. AIRBASE High Definition Airbrush Makeup is a silicone based product which means that it won't clog your pores up and the best thing is that it means the makeup can stand up to high heat ideal for special occasions where your makeup has to stay put for a long time.
The Airbase make up mirror...I need one of these!

At the AIRBASE stand the talented Mariam Jensen did my make up and I have to say I loved it. Firstly she applied an amazing moisturiser and then a primer from the range. The  colour perfectly matched my skin giving a polished even tone ( the boyfriend was in charge of photos and the flash makes it look like the makeup was super pale but it really wasn't ). What I love about Airbase is that it makes the skin look naturally perfect, it gives the skin an even skin tone without the tell tale signs of foundation or makeup.
aghhh the flash was on! You can see the even skin tone appearance even with the bad flash.
The foundation can also be applied with a sponge to difficult areas like the eyes.
Mariam Jensen (www.mariamjensen.com) is a professional makeup artist to the stars so I felt like a mini star whilst having the makeup applied. The spray machine looks sleek and rather snazzy but it is so quiet you cannot hear it just a slight whooshing noise and the feeling is not like an intense blast of air but a gentle cold breeze. You can barely feel the makeup on your skin, it is actually soothing and refreshing.

Spraying my new face on.

While I love the product I love Mariam Jensen even more! She really knows what she is talking about and is so talented working on some big stars for TV, film and red carpet events. Having emigrated from the US to the UK she is really friendly and her list of upcoming events is impressive but I am sworn to secrecy.
Final touches.

With the actual foundation you only need a small amount which can be blended with the other colours to create the perfect shade for any skin tone. The combination can be infinite meaning even the likes of me who struggle to find a shade of foundation can be created throughout the year so even if you tan you can always mix up a shade.

So after walking through the wind and rain my make up has stayed put 8hours later!!!!

Airbrush makeup is not easy to apply and does require training and practise to perfect a blended and even look. The company runs classes which can be booked via their  website http://www.airbasemakeup.com/ I am not paid to review this product I was just really impressed by the product and wanted you all to hear about it.
