Its the end of the Easter weekend which means the diet starts again and its back to work. In the UK at the moment the weather turned from glorious sunshine (actually sun bathing weather!) to grey and rainy. Typical as soon as I have a day off the sunshine also takes the day off.
No matter if the sun isn't shining we can still have gorgeous glowing skin thanks to the amazing new UK make up company Smooch.
Smooch is a relatively new company that is gaining a great name for themselves especially in the professional beauty world having recently featured in Scratch (professional nail magazine) in its section for what a professional make up artist needs in their make up kit.

So having read such a great press I really wanted to try out some of their products. I bought a bronzer, blusher, lipstick and lip gloss.
I absolutely love this company's packaging and design, the actual products all have a black velvety finish to them (almost like NARS packaging) and all have the company's name printed on them mainly in pink writing except the bronzers which have it in gold. The outer packaging is really cute and stylish with lace and netting, also the lip products have little printed charms entwined with the lace.
Now as you know from my last bronzer review I really like golden shimmery bronzers but find a lot of bronzers only have the shimmer on the top of the bronzer and after a few uses wears away but NOT this! The shimmer is all the way through the bronzer and really gives a nice natural glow. The bronzer comes with a brush which is great for touch ups but when I put it on in the morning I use a larger brush so that I just need to touch up when I need to later in the day. The bronzer even has a large mirror which is such a good size you wont need to carry a vanity mirror with you. The colour is BRONZED.

The blusher online looked a lot more pink but was actually more a brown-ish colour, but when i applied the blusher it took on a pink tone and seemed to 'adapt' to my colour. I really like this, its a natural fresh colour. If you find that the blushers at Benefit to be too pale or unnatural to your skin tone then I would highly recommend Smooch blushers. The colour is KOOKIE CRUMBLE:
I have to say the packaging sold me on the lipstick, I mentioned before I love the Japanese style of Lolita and Kawaii and this packaging really fits in with all of those looks. I chose Caramel Queen because I thought it described me. The lipstick goes on smooth, and doesn't leave a sticky or gunky residue. It actually feels like your lips are being moisturised. The lipstick is a rich brown colour which is almost natural on my lips with little hits of gold specs of glitter.

The lip gloss is in this hot pink looking shade but don't be alarmed it actually gives a healthy pink tint to lips and is super shiny without being gloppy and sticky. It is in the the brush style which is really popular at the moment after being successful with Stilla. I like the bush it is less messy than the wands as you can twist the amount you need and apply it more precisely. The colour is Dolly Daydream:

Check out SMOOCH's range of products and colour on their website http://www.smoochcosmeticsuk.com/ I highly recommend their lip pencils as well as they are double ended with one side the pencil and the other a lip brush. Their products are really good quality and is super pretty, the colours are great for all skin tones and will make your make up bag look so pretty.
